Here at The Barn we want you to decide how you use the spaces to make your wedding day as special and unique as possible. Flexibility with a relaxed & friendly but professional atmosphere come together to help you make memories of your special day to last a lifetime.

We have spaces for both intimate and larger weddings including for your ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception. We’ve had sit down meals for 10 to 110, or even more for a relaxed BBQ / Buffet style with no formal seating. We don’t have any minimum number guest requirements and we then have room for over 150 guests for the evening’s entertainment across the Barns.

Your photographer will be spoilt for choice with so many options of places to capture the day, from your couple photographs to group shots with your nearest and dearest.

Your Ceremony

We are licensed by Gloucestershire County Council for weddings and civil partnerships in our Threshing Barn and other Barns for your ceremony. You also have the opportunity (weather dependant) for an outdoor ceremony!

Just drop us a message to discuss your needs and we can advise you on the next step.

You’ll need to agree your ceremony date and time with the Superintendent Registrar, which can be done by calling Gloucestershire County Council Registrar on 01452 425060.

Your Wedding Breakfast

Our flexible set of buildings provide you with an opportunity to decide exactly how you structure your day following your ceremony.

You can start with your drinks reception in the courtyard or top lawn and move to the Threshing Barn for a sumptuous meal, your wedding breakfast.

Alternatively, if you want to hold your drinks reception in the Sheep Shed / Grain Store, and then move either into the Threshing Barn for a larger wedding breakfast or the cosier area in the Grain Store for a more intimate meal.

Our preferred caterers offer a range of options for you to choose from for your food.

You have the option of round or trestle tables for your meal that can be configured to your own particular arrangement – our team along with your caterers will set this up for you.

We are more than happy to send over table layout options that work perfectly within our Threshing Barn to help with inspiration.

Your Evening Reception

We love a good party here at The Barn and enjoy all the different types of music our weddings bring – from jukeboxes to rock bands to a great wedding DJ!

For the evening reception, you could have your dancing in the Grain Store (next to and connected to our Bar) or even in the Threshing Barn, with evening food served around the venue or on the gravel area in the courtyard. 

Rates and Dates

Our standard venue hire rates vary depending on the day of the week and month as well as the year that you’re looking at. The current rates range from £2,900 (incl. VAT) to £6,400 (incl. VAT).

What’s included?

  • Exclusive use of the Barns (Threshing Barn, Grain Store, Sheep Shed, Cart Lodge) for your wedding day from 10am to end of the evening
  • Exclusive use of the venue grounds of top lawn and courtyard
  • Use of our Secret garden, the surrounding fields and woodland for your couple photographs
  • Our professional and experienced event managers to help you from initial enquiry through to the morning after
  • Our venue staff to help you coordinate your wedding day behind the scenes so you can thoroughly enjoy your day
  • Ceremony set up – we don’t charge you extra if you would like to have your ceremony onsite
  • Use of the Hay Barn honeymoon suite on your wedding day from 11am (for getting ready in) and including night of the Wedding to the following morning, with complimentary continental breakfast
  • Furniture: chairs and tables (trestle or round tables) for your guests and outdoor patio furniture with patio heater
  • Fully stocked and staffed bar which accepts cash, card, contactless and apple payment (no set up fees) with the ability to have a couple of special requests behind the bar too – staffing for the bar included
  • Fairy light curtain in the Grain Store and fairy lights on the beams in the Sheep Shed (Bar) & Wooden easels for your wedding signs
  • Use of our Bluetooth speaker system for your music throughout the day
  • Underfloor heating, gazebos and umbrellas for when the weather doesn’t quite go our way!
  • Removal of your decorations to handy storage area for you to collect the next morning
  • VAT (20%) is included in our rates

Please note you will need to make a separate payment to the registrar/celebrant for performing your ceremony or to your church of choice.

Payment terms: 20% deposit required to confirm booking, a further 30% is required 6 months in advance of your wedding, and the remaining 50% must be paid 2 months before the wedding date.
